At Washington State Department of Corrections
The SPP-Evergreen team receives top-level guidance and support from many staff members at WA Corrections Headquarters, in Tumwater, Washington. This includes vital input from the agency’s Deputy Secretary, and Directors and staff from multiple offices: Reentry, Communications, Research & Data Analytics, Policy, Information Technology, Grants, Capital Programs, and Contracts. They shape and reinforce SPP programs statewide, as well as advocate for specific programs and institutional needs.
In addition, we recognize the essential enthusiasm and buy-in from Superintendents and members of the staff from every one of Washington State’s prisons. So many of them show exemplary dedication to education, safety, rehabilitation, reentry, and respecting the humanity of prison residents. We could not do this work without them!
