Liesl Plomski

Graduate Research Associate, MES Program
The Evergreen State College

A native of Shelton, Washington, where the Olympic Mountains spill into South Puget Sound, Liesl worked with the Sustainability in Prisons Project while obtaining a Master of Environmental Studies at Evergreen.  Always on the go, she provided essential support for our science-in-prison projects, working closely with incarcerated technicians and correctional staff who raise frogs, bees and prairie plants with visiting scientists. With Evergreen bachelor’s degrees in ecology and environmental studies, Liesl worked three years on restoration projects for Washington State agencies before returning to the college as a graduate student.
