Elijah Moloney

SPP Education and Outreach Intern
The Evergreen State College

Elijah Moloney was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in suburban New Jersey—a far cry from his new home in Olympia, Washington. Elijah’s passions lie in social justice and the social sciences and he is pursuing his Bachelor of the Arts Degree (BA) in History and Literature. He is ecstatic and grateful to be working with the SPP, not only for the opportunity to expand his horizons into the hard sciences, but also for the ability to integrate the experience back into his life and education.

During his time at Evergreen, Elijah has served on the Geoduck Student Union (GSU), including as its chair during the 2015-16 school year. He was Evergreen’s Voting Coordinator during the 2016 election cycle. He is very proud of the work and contributions that he has made to the Evergreen community during that time. Currently, he is a student in Gateways for Incarcerated Youth’s program in which he learns alongside teens incarcerated at Green Hill School.

Elijah is excited to bring his unique blend of skills and experience to the SPP. He views the services which the SPP provides to be invaluable to the incarcerated peoples of Washington State, and is profoundly humbled to be a part of such a fantastic organization.
